Monday Quotes #2

This Monday Quote is brought to you by my celebrity dad of the week!

Having a baby changes the way you view your in-laws. I love it when they come to visit now. They can hold the baby and I can go out. Matthew Broderick

Never underestimate the positive power of grandparents! We moved many miles away from both sets of grandparents and have noticed the lack. Now we actually have to pay for babysitters!

About dirtyrottenparenting

I'm a parent of two lovely (most of the time) children. I work full time out of the home and I don't cook well, bake, sew, or do crafty things. I keep my high heels and jewelry at my office because there's no point in having them at home. I love Mondays because I can return to the world of adults, go to the bathroom alone and have nearly uninterrupted conversations with others.

Ha! It’s true! The only times I’ve regretted living far away from my parents have been since my kiddo was born. Now I no longer want an ocean between us — just, maybe, three or four towns? Yeah, that sounds good.

    • My In-Laws are planning to move closer… they’ll be on the mainland though. So we’ve still got about 4 hours including the ferry ride between us. Ideally I’d like about 45 minutes to an hour but this will be way better than a 5 hour flight!
