Naked Friday!

Lately my son has taken to stripping down and running around naked. Or, in the absence of a good naked excuse, he takes off his pants and underwear and runs around half-naked. He finds this exceeding thrilling.

Sometimes I wonder what exactly goes through his head as he makes the decision to strip down.

My clothes are too heavy, I think I’ll take them off.

I want some juice. I think I’ll take off my clothes.

Why am I wearing these things again?

Mommy looks cranky. I know what will cheer her up. Chasing me around the house while I’m naked.

If I take off all of my clothes, maybe mommy will let me stay up past my bedtime.

If my underwear stays dry all day then I get an ice cream treat after supper. If I’m naked then I can’t pee in my underwear.

Happy Naked Friday everyone!

About dirtyrottenparenting

I'm a parent of two lovely (most of the time) children. I work full time out of the home and I don't cook well, bake, sew, or do crafty things. I keep my high heels and jewelry at my office because there's no point in having them at home. I love Mondays because I can return to the world of adults, go to the bathroom alone and have nearly uninterrupted conversations with others.

As soon as we walk in the door from day care my son starts to strip, it’s insane! Lol

Wait until BOTH of the kids are running around naked and doing disgusting things like showing each other their butt holes and other various gross things…. I mean, not that I know anything about that from my boys, not at all… I’m just guessing that that’s what your kids will eventually do…. 😉

Dammit! I missed Naked Friday! Well, I guess there’s always next week. In the meantime, I suppose I’ll just have to keep my clothes on.

  4. My daughter refuses to wear clothes. if you havent, you should read “Embrace your Nekkidness” on my page. thanks for the insight though, I was just wondering this yesterday when my daughter started streaking outside.
