Monday Quotes #11

Mommy look at me, I’m naked! Naked, naked, naked!  My 4-year-old son.

I came home from the store to find my son playing in our kiddie pool, naked. His swim shorts were lying in the middle of the back yard.

Me: Why did you take your swim shorts off?

Him: They were wet mommy.

I checked in with my husband who had been home all afternoon. Apparently my son had peed in his wet swim shorts. I guess pee-wet is different from swim-wet. Not that it matters much. He’ll take any excuse to get naked and run around.

Which is why I shared about Naked Fridays awhile back!

About dirtyrottenparenting

I'm a parent of two lovely (most of the time) children. I work full time out of the home and I don't cook well, bake, sew, or do crafty things. I keep my high heels and jewelry at my office because there's no point in having them at home. I love Mondays because I can return to the world of adults, go to the bathroom alone and have nearly uninterrupted conversations with others.

  1. My daughter, 3, loves to be naked. And she’ll tell me, “Mama, I don’t wanna wear clothes. I like being so neh-ked.”

  2. Kathy V. says:

Man, kids these days start skinny dipping so young!

  3. magzmama says:

Kiddo likes to sleep “freestyle” which means with no undies. She’s now taken that to being a “naked maniac” which translates loosely into house streaker. And now she’s loving the skinny dipping feeling in the family pool. It’s awesome that she feels so free yet does this in a total safe space!
