Monday Quotes #12

Let’s play hide and seek! Why don’t you kids go downstairs and someone will come find you. Eventually. Me

My kids have discovered the joy of playing hide and seek. Sadly, they cannot play it without either mommy or daddy. Yesterday evening, while attempting to clean up the supper dishes, I told them to go hide and I would find them. Sooner or later.

I did eventually go find them. They weren’t hiding anymore. They were jumping on my son’s bed.

Sometimes the attention span of small children works to my advantage.

About dirtyrottenparenting

I'm a parent of two lovely (most of the time) children. I work full time out of the home and I don't cook well, bake, sew, or do crafty things. I keep my high heels and jewelry at my office because there's no point in having them at home. I love Mondays because I can return to the world of adults, go to the bathroom alone and have nearly uninterrupted conversations with others.
