On the 6th Day of Halloween…

On the sixth day of Halloween, my true love gave to me:

  • 6 Smoking Cauldrons;
  • 5 Gravestones;
  • 4 Shrieking bats;
  • 3 Black Cats;
  • 2 Angry Spiders; and
  • A pumpkin in a  pear tree.

Because who doesn’t love Harry Potter? And trouble? And cauldrons bubbling?

Instead of the usual plastic jack-o-lantern buckets for Halloween, we picked up a set of plastic black cauldrons for the kids. I’m a little envious. I’d like a big cauldron for the back yard. Maybe next year.

About dirtyrottenparenting

I'm a parent of two lovely (most of the time) children. I work full time out of the home and I don't cook well, bake, sew, or do crafty things. I keep my high heels and jewelry at my office because there's no point in having them at home. I love Mondays because I can return to the world of adults, go to the bathroom alone and have nearly uninterrupted conversations with others.

  1. Jeyna Grace says:

    Cauldrons better than pumpkins alright!

  2. Have you seen the cauldrons that have the fog stuff coming out of them that has the bubbles too? I saw that at the Halloween store here. Way cool! I also like the ones that look like they have a flame but it’s just a fan, a light, and some material. Halloween stuff just gets way neater every year.

    I too love Harry Potter!
