Happy Halloween Everyone!

My dear husband has been carving pumpkins every night for awhile. We ended up with 10 of the darn things! Here they are:

The kids got to wear their pajamas to daycare today for a pajama party, because costumes might be too scary and Halloween may offend some of the families. I was just happy to be able to cut out the part of the morning routine where I wrestle them into their clothing for the day.

Daddy wore a costume for work, the Ghostbuster’s no ghosts logo – I don’t have a photo because he was going to put it on after he got to work.

I am sitting at my desk wearing a saucy hat in honor of this festive holiday.

I will also be wearing this saucy little hat tonight as we dress our family up as skeletons. We plan on having a family photo tonight, preferably before going out trick or treating, because it’s raining and will probably continue to rain all evening.

Have a great night, stay safe and ensure that you have a fool-proof hiding spot for all the candy you intend to steal from your young ones!

Update: Here’s Daddy!

About dirtyrottenparenting

I'm a parent of two lovely (most of the time) children. I work full time out of the home and I don't cook well, bake, sew, or do crafty things. I keep my high heels and jewelry at my office because there's no point in having them at home. I love Mondays because I can return to the world of adults, go to the bathroom alone and have nearly uninterrupted conversations with others.

It was a pajama party at our daycare too! However, due to anxiety I won’t go into, I hadn’t sent Sidrah for the past two days, and today did not know about pajama day. Instead, she came wearing her ladybug costume. She’s always the oddball, thanks to her oddball mama.

    Those pumpkins are FANTASTIC!

  4. Great pumpkins–your hubby missed his calling! That was a super fabulous hat….
