In case you missed it, I have embarked upon a mission to shrink or completely remove (non-surgically) my child induced fanny pack. I had a plan, I had motivation, I had a small window of time every other night to put it all into action.
To date, I have sort of followed my 2 step plan to stop eating chips and get off my lazy ass in the evenings. By sort of followed, I mean that I haven’t eaten chips (except for that one time) and I’ve downloaded a whole lot of exercise videos which I have watched while not eating chips. I did go jogging a few times in the beginning but now it’s just way too dark and rainy outside by the time the littlest one is in bed.
Then the most terrible thing happened. I stepped on the scale in the bathroom the other night and was shocked to discover that I had put on a few pounds. What the hell is going on around here?! I’m not sure if I need to make a new plan or hire a personal motivator.
Is there such thing as a personal motivator? I’m sure there are any number of unemployed ex-cheerleaders just looking for this sort of work.
