Sick Day #3

Technically it’s sick day #6… 2 days on the weekend, 1 day that the husband stayed home, and now on the 3rd day home for me. I did attempt to take him to daycare today since his fever was gone. But then the boy had to go and have diarrhoea in his pants. Had he made it to the toilet I don’t think anyone would have been the wiser and I would still be at work. Damn!

Oh well, that’s life with kids I guess.

So, today’s sick day is brought to you by the number 6, for six days of sick, and by the letter F, for you know what, and thanks to our sponsor Pepto Bismol, had I known I would have administered it sooner, and would not be here at home today.

About dirtyrottenparenting

I'm a parent of two lovely (most of the time) children. I work full time out of the home and I don't cook well, bake, sew, or do crafty things. I keep my high heels and jewelry at my office because there's no point in having them at home.

LOL ! I almost choked on my mouthful of cereal! You need to give yourself a massive reward after this – Oi!

  2. The “F” is for…”fart gone wrong?” 😉 Hang in there! Day six just means you’re that much closer to the end…right?!

  3. Poor mama! Hang in there!! You are closer to the end. Not “the end” where there’s diarrhea but you know, the finish. 🙂

Once you don’t get sick… that’s the worst, cause who looks after the mammies. Nobody.
Isn’t it interesting the way its usually our holiday days that are sacrificed for sickness. Hmmm.
