Solving early morning conflicts

Two children with two different television watching desires? No problem in this Dirty Rotten Parenting household. Little girl goes downstairs to watch Dora and little boy stays upstairs to watch Shrek. See, we know how to work it!

In other news:

“Shame!” you say?

Oh no. I can never, ever tune out the little creatures. It makes me crazy sometimes because that means I never get a mental break. But just seconds ago, I managed it! Probably because my husband was all over dealing with it. But still. I blocked it out!

About dirtyrottenparenting

I'm a parent of two lovely (most of the time) children. I work full time out of the home and I don't cook well, bake, sew, or do crafty things. I keep my high heels and jewelry at my office because there's no point in having them at home. I love Mondays because I can return to the world of adults, go to the bathroom alone and have nearly uninterrupted conversations with others.

  1. The Husband says:

Congratulations, dear. Soon you’ll be ignoring the kidlets as well as I can…

  2. Smart mommy, methinks! It would have been better though if you hadn’t had to block them out because you were still asleep. Bam! There’s a goal to shoot for.
