I’m Reading Bossypants

This is not a real post. I just wanted to tell everyone that I started reading Tina Fey’s Bossypants and even though I’m only 14 pages into it, I already have a lady crush on her. I hope that doesn’t weird all of you out. Not that it matters. I’m going to start stalking Tina. Do you think she’ll mind? Probably not. Because we’re soul mates. Did you hear that Tina? We’re soul mates.

I have to go pick up my kids from daycare now. But don’t you worry Tina. I’ll come right home and ignore them and read more of your book.

About dirtyrottenparenting

I'm a parent of two lovely (most of the time) children. I work full time out of the home and I don't cook well, bake, sew, or do crafty things. I keep my high heels and jewelry at my office because there's no point in having them at home. I love Mondays because I can return to the world of adults, go to the bathroom alone and have nearly uninterrupted conversations with others.

  1. This IS a real post!! Anything that includes Tina or Bossypants is a real post!! You will LOVE her book. Hilarious, inspiring, and full of girl power. I actually started my blog after I read it–love me some Tina!

I wasn’t a cheerleader, but I play on in comments.

I have a serious girl-crush on Tina Fey. I don’t normally self-promote (oh, who am I kidding, I’m a blog whore) but I wrote a post about books like Bossypants. Check it out when you’re done your book. Lady love galore.

  3. OOOOOOH! I bought that as soon as it came out, and can honestly say that I have never read an entire book faster than that in my life. “What is that smell? It’s like someone boiled a thousand eggs in a prostitutes bath water.”
I love her SO HARD, and I can promise that you will not be even slightly disappointed.

LOVE this book. It basically saved me from insanity when my son was born. I was so distraught over breastfeeding that I cried for days and then started to read her book. It was like rainbows and puppies and chocolate were thrown at me…in a good way…Fantastic read.

  5. I like ignoring people in favor of books – RIGHT ON!
