Pick Me Up Later

This morning on the drive to daycare, my son asked me if I could pick him and his sister up from daycare later. I was a bit surprised. Is he begging for a longer daycare day? I’m game. What will I do with all of that extra time; a whole 15-20 minutes of Mommy time? I am going to par-tay!

I have a sneaking suspicion that he really meant that he wanted to be dropped off at daycare later. I had to cut off the fun times this morning and drag them out of the tent in the basement so we could go to daycare.

I like the extra Mommy-time option way better.

About dirtyrottenparenting

I'm a parent of two lovely (most of the time) children. I work full time out of the home and I don't cook well, bake, sew, or do crafty things. I keep my high heels and jewelry at my office because there's no point in having them at home. I love Mondays because I can return to the world of adults, go to the bathroom alone and have nearly uninterrupted conversations with others.
