The teen years are showing up way too early!

My 3.5 year old daughter has some very strong opinions about what she wants to wear and which tops go with which pants. Yesterday she wasn’t happy with the choice of clean pants left in her drawer. She got to daycare and immediately rummaged through the extra clothes bin to find pants that better matched her shirt.

What on earth will we do when she gets older and gets REALLY picky about clothes?!

About dirtyrottenparenting

I'm a parent of two lovely (most of the time) children. I work full time out of the home and I don't cook well, bake, sew, or do crafty things. I keep my high heels and jewelry at my office because there's no point in having them at home. I love Mondays because I can return to the world of adults, go to the bathroom alone and have nearly uninterrupted conversations with others.

  1. Angela says:

Welcome to my world, with a four year old princess!

  2. My four yr old daughter rolled her eyes at me the other day and I had a back to the future moment…and then wanted to cry. She embodies a 13 yr old some days and very little scares me as much as her hormones going out of whack. God help us.
