HNY to all and to all a nice night

I figure I’ve got all year to enjoy 2014, there’s no reason why I shouldn’t go to bed at a reasonable time and just greet it in the morning.

I’d ask what your plans are, but I don’t really care. If you’re doing something cool or fun, I might feel jealous. If you’re not doing much of anything, well, you’re in good company.

About dirtyrottenparenting

I'm a parent of two lovely (most of the time) children. I work full time out of the home and I don't cook well, bake, sew, or do crafty things. I keep my high heels and jewelry at my office because there's no point in having them at home.

  1. Comely Miss says:

I’ll be in bed. I have a 2 year old that insists on getting up at the butt crack of dawn, so it’s not even worth it to me, Happy New Year! 🙂

  2. Gosh no! I’ll be hiding out at home watching Netflix and eating ice cream (IF I can force myself off the couch to go buy some…so likely not).

Enjoy and Happy New Year my friend!!

  3. I love this post! New Years Eve and Valentine’s are my least favorite holidays because of the expectations that they have to be super exciting and utterly romantic. And then as you’re in bed at 10:30 pm on Dec. 31st, with your window open, you can hear all the neighboring houses having an uproarious good time and you imagine what you’re missing out on. But I like to picture those hungover folks the next day, as I take my “Greet the New Year” early morning walk, cheerfully humming (just a little too loudly!) under all their open windows….lol. Glad I found you – – Following you for sure!!
