Halloween approaching

I love Halloween… I really love it. I love the costumes, I love decorating, it’s just so darn much fun. Costumes are mostly ready, house is decorated with giant spiders and a giant spider web, and the little graveyard in the front flower bed, the projector is standing by to light up scary scenes in the upstairs window.

Yes indeed, we are all ready for the big day… except for the candy.

We can’t buy candy too far ahead of time or else we don’t have any left to hand out to the children. In fact, this is what I would probably look like if we had purchased candy in advance…

Yummmm… candy.

About dirtyrottenparenting

I'm a parent of two lovely (most of the time) children. I work full time out of the home and I don't cook well, bake, sew, or do crafty things. I keep my high heels and jewelry at my office because there's no point in having them at home. I love Mondays because I can return to the world of adults, go to the bathroom alone and have nearly uninterrupted conversations with others.

  1. I have learned this the hard way…and can’t seem to ever learn O.o

  2. Love the picture. If I could order wall paper with this image on it and plaster it all over my living room, I would.
Kidding. I would maybe plaster my front closet with this…the inside part of it that no one sees and ends up getting all muddy and gross and covered in black marks from all the soles of shoes that have kicked it. (This is sarcasm btw. I’m sure you know this but some people on the internet are very….touchy)
This isn’t exactly a picture I would want to wallpaper my house with, but its fantastic for displaying that post-whole box of candy I ate in one sitting-body.

We are working our way through the Halloween candy daily and steadily. By “we” I mean “me.”
